Services

Our library stocks a large range of books across many genres. We have a large crime & thriller section, general novels, historical books, romance and much more. We also have large print novels and a wide range of non-fiction books.

As well as our wide range of books we also offer photocopying, printing and PCs with access to the internet, e-mails, and Microsoft Office.

We serve tea and coffee and offer a warm space to meet and chat.

Photocopying and Printing

Printing and copying up to A4 size is available. Black & white costs 10p per sheet, colour costs 50p per sheet.

PCs with access to the internet

PCs are free to use. (Donations are welcome.) It’s not necessary to book ahead for a PC, however at busy times you may be asked to vacate the PC after one hour. PCs have access to Microsoft Office, and free access (via the Gateshead Library website) to Find my Past, for family history searches.
